A good matched-betting service should do one profitable job: reduce the time and friction between finding an offer and recording its settled result. The attractive machinery around that job includes oddsmatchers, calculators, offer lists and support. The machinery is useful, but it still has to earn its keep.

For a complete beginner, Team Profit gives away enough guidance and calculation help to learn the method without buying a subscription. For regular use, OddsMonkey Starter has the most persuasive published package: a monthly option, a much cheaper annual rate, a broad OddsMatcher and an integrated profit tracker. Outplayed Platinum costs the same annually and has a serious toolset of its own. The choice between the two paid services is closer than their marketing departments might consider decent.

That is a recommendation about value and published features, not a promise of profit. Odds still move. Accounts differ. A splendidly coloured dashboard cannot place the correct bet on your behalf.

OddsMonkey vs Outplayed vs Team Profit

OddsMonkey's figures and refund terms come from its current pricing page.[1] Outplayed's Platinum price and included offer categories come from its current pricing page.[4] Team Profit calls itself a free service, and its live calculator shows normal, SNR and refund modes.[7][8]

OddsMonkey: the clearest all-round paid choice

OddsMonkey Starter is the easiest recommendation for someone who expects to use an oddsmatcher regularly. The published monthly price is £39.99. The annual payment is £249.99, equivalent to £20.83 a month, and £229.89 less than paying the monthly price twelve times. Both plans renew unless cancelled, and the company advertises a 14-day money-back guarantee on the first payment.[1]

The central attraction is coverage. OddsMonkey says its full OddsMatcher can sort and compare prices from more than 100 bookmakers and five betting exchanges. It also publishes a Daily Offer Calendar, calculators, racing and accumulator matchers, a Dutch matcher and an integrated profit tracker.[2]

That combination suits a regular matched bettor who wants one place to find prices, calculate stakes and record results. The profit tracker matters more than it first appears. A service that finds ten offers but leaves you unsure what settled is doing only half the administrative work.

The free trial is unusually gentle. OddsMonkey says no payment details are required and the trial remains open for as long as needed, although its guided material is designed to take only a few hours.[3] It is therefore a sensible first look before any subscription decision.

The limitation is price discipline. Annual membership is substantially cheaper per month, but prepaying for a year is poor economy if you disappear after the welcome offers. Start with the free trial. If you continue, measure the subscription against settled monthly profit and time saved.

Outplayed: strong guidance and support

Outplayed Platinum is priced at £249.99 a year. Its public plan includes more than 40 sign-up offers, daily sportsbook reloads, training, support and what it calls essential matched-betting tools. The annual subscription renews unless cancelled.[4]

Its published feature list is substantial. Outplayed describes an Oddsmatcher, more than ten advanced matched-betting calculators, a profit tracker, horse-racing and accumulator tools, offer-progress tracking and support seven days a week through several channels.[5] For a beginner who values tutorials and access to human help, that is a credible package.

Be precise about tiers. The pricing page puts casino offers in Diamond at £349.99 a year. Pro, at £995 a year, adds the 2UP Master, Extra Place Master and Lucky Finder. Elite is dearer again.[4] Do not buy Platinum assuming every tool named elsewhere on the site belongs to the entry plan.

The current trial guide describes seven days of free Platinum access. It also says registration requires card details and creates a recurring payment, with no charge if you cancel during the seven days.[11] That is a proper test window, but put the cancellation date in your calendar before admiring the dashboard.

On published annual price, Outplayed Platinum and OddsMonkey Starter are level. OddsMonkey wins our default recommendation because its public pages give a clearer monthly escape route and precise matcher coverage. Outplayed may suit you better if its teaching and support style proves more useful during the trial. Without a hands-on comparison, claims about which interface is faster would be theatre, so we will not make them.

Team Profit: useful, free, and no longer a full paid rival

Team Profit is best understood as a free beginner resource rather than a third subscription suite. Its homepage offers free registration, beginner tutorials, welcome and reload material, and a calculator.[7] Its learning area says it includes eight videos and two quizzes.[12]

The browser calculator supports ordinary qualifying bets, SNR free bets and refund calculations, with an advanced display for partial matches, underlays and overlays.[8] That is enough to learn the basic back-and-lay process. Matched Betting Beast's own free Ultimate Calculator also covers qualifying bets, free bets, each-way offers, extra places, dutching and arbitrage.

The important qualification concerns odds matching. Team Profit announced that its Offermatcher would stop operating from 1 April 2021.[10] Its current Oddsmatcher page promotes seven days of Outplayed and describes Outplayed's matcher, rather than offering a separate Team Profit matcher.[9]

Team Profit is still useful. It simply occupies a different category. Use it to learn cheaply. If you later need automated price comparison, the genuine contest is then OddsMonkey against Outplayed.

Compare the trials before the subscriptions

OddsMonkey's free trial asks for no payment details and has no fixed time limit in its published description.[3] Outplayed offers seven days of free access, but its own guide says the card creates a recurring payment after the trial unless you cancel.[11] Team Profit's core service is free, though the automated oddsmatcher route leads to Outplayed.[7][9]

Use a trial to answer practical questions. Can you find a suitable event quickly? Does the calculator explain the lay stake and liability clearly? Can you locate the offer terms without wandering through five menus? Can you record the result? A trial has succeeded when it resolves those questions, not when it persuades you to complete every available promotion before tea.

Which service should you choose?

If you are completely new

Begin with Team Profit, Matched Betting Beast's plain-English introduction and the free calculator. Complete one simple offer slowly. You do not need an annual bill to discover what a lay bet means.

If you want regular automated odds matching

Try OddsMonkey first. Its no-card trial is low pressure, and the paid Starter plan gives you both monthly and annual routes. Choose annual only after the routine has survived its first burst of enthusiasm.

If guided training and support matter most

Use Outplayed's seven-day trial and test the support material. Compare the experience with OddsMonkey before paying. Remember that the Outplayed trial can roll into a recurring payment, so cancel in time if it is not for you.

If you want casino or advanced value-betting tools

Stop and price the exact tier. Outplayed and OddsMonkey reserve some casino and value-betting tools for dearer plans.[1][4] Casino promotions can involve variance, and value betting is not the same as hedging a promotion. A longer menu does not automatically improve your net result.

Is paid membership worth it?

Take your settled profit for the month and subtract the subscription. Then estimate the active time the service saved. If a £39.99 month helps you find and complete £140 of extra net profit, the case is easy. If it helps you admire prices you never use, you have purchased a rather specialised screensaver.
