Outplayed Pro costs £150 a month, or £995 a year paid upfront. It includes the lower Platinum and Diamond memberships, then adds tools built around 2UP football offers, extra-place racing, Lucky 15 bets, price boosts and bet builders.[6] That is a large jump from a beginner subscription, so the useful question is not whether the software can find bets. It is whether you have the bankroll, time and appetite to use those bets often enough to cover the fee.

My answer is fairly blunt: most beginners do not need Pro. Learn ordinary back and lay betting first, make sure your records are reliable and find out whether you enjoy the work. Pro becomes interesting when the basic process is familiar and one or two of its specialist methods suit the way you already bet.

The annual price works out at £82.92 a month, but it is still a £995 commitment. Twelve monthly payments would cost £1,800, so annual billing saves £805 only if you would otherwise keep paying monthly for at least seven months. Buying a year because it looks cheaper is not a saving if the tools sit unused.

What Outplayed Pro gives you

The current Pro package includes everything in Platinum and Diamond, plus Extra Place Master, 2UP Master, Price Boost Tracker, Lucky Finder and Bet Builder Finder.[6] Outplayed's pricing page describes it as the level for people who are already comfortable with matched betting and have built a bankroll.[1]

The practical benefits of Pro
  • Find 2UP and extra-place bets without searching every eligible event by hand.
  • See probability and expected-value calculations that help identify the stronger opportunities.
  • Receive alerts on your device for potentially profitable price boosts.
  • Spend less time finding and checking bets, while getting more potential value from each method.

Outplayed says Pro could increase a member's monthly profits by £500 to £1,000+, and says Extra Place Master alone can "easily" make £500 a month or more.[6] That advertised upside is far above the £150 monthly fee. It is a company claim, not a guaranteed result, but it explains why the extra tools may offer much more value than their price.

Test Pro for one month. Use the tools properly and record the extra net profit they identify. If it works for you, the annual plan lowers the effective monthly cost to £82.92 and saves £805 compared with twelve monthly payments.

The lower tiers already cover the ordinary matched-betting foundations. If you still need to understand qualifying losses, lay liability or free-bet conversion, start there. You can use the free Matched Betting Beast Ultimate Calculator to check the numbers, and the Outplayed pricing guide to compare every level before paying.

The three tools that define Pro

2UP Master

A 2UP promotion pays a football back bet as a winner when the selected team goes two goals ahead, even if the match later ends in a draw or defeat.[3] A conventional matched position can produce a larger result when that early payout lands and the exchange lay also wins after a comeback.

Three cards matching 2UP Master to football early payouts, Extra Place Master to each-way racing and Lucky Finder to Lucky 15 value betting.
The three specialist methods at the centre of Outplayed Pro.

2UP Master estimates the probability and expected value of the available selections. Outplayed says most bets shown by the tool have expected value of 3% to 9%, equivalent to an average £3 to £9 per £100 staked across a sufficiently large sample.[3] That is an expectation, not the result of tonight's match. You still need suitable bookmaker access, exchange liquidity and enough money for stakes and liabilities. A team can fail to lead by two, or lead by two and win normally, many times in a row.

Extra Place Master

Extra-place offers pay more finishing places than the corresponding exchange place market. The basic Extra Place Catcher helps locate low-cost matches. Extra Place Master goes further by estimating the chance that each horse lands in the additional paying place rather than judging a bet from implied odds alone.[4]

Its three modes matter. Full Lay covers the win and place parts at an exchange and leaves the familiar pattern of small qualifying losses with an occasional extra-place return. Part Lay leaves more exposure. No Lay places the each-way bookmaker bet without exchange lays. Outplayed itself calls No Lay the highest-risk mode and says it needs experience and a large bankroll because results can swing sharply.[4] The software can organise a value strategy, but it cannot turn that strategy into a guaranteed return.

Lucky Finder

Lucky Finder builds each-way Lucky 15 combinations. A Lucky 15 contains four singles, six doubles, four trebles and one fourfold, or 30 bets when placed each way.[5] These bets are not laid, so results can be lumpy. Outplayed's own product page says they are not risk free and recommends experience with both matched betting and value betting before using them.[5]

Price Boost Tracker and Bet Builder Finder can also save searching time. They may be useful, but I would not buy Pro for a long list of features. Choose the method you would actually use. The plan makes more sense when one core tool already fits your routine and the rest are a bonus.

How to read Outplayed's published profit figures

Outplayed published tracked results covering January 2024 to February 2025 for most Pro tools. It reported £305,165.27 profit from Lucky Finder, £860,936.54 from Extra Place Master No Lay, £183,207.70 from Extra Place Master Full Lay and £36,105.95 from 2UP Master.[2] Those are combined member totals, not typical earnings per subscriber.

The source says the figures come only from bets stored in each tool's "My Bets" section.[2] It also says unusually large results and possible mistaken entries were removed, while some members use separate spreadsheets and therefore do not appear in the totals. That gives the figures useful context, but it does not provide the number of active users, a median result, time spent, bankroll size or subscription costs per person. You cannot divide the headline profit by nothing and call it an expected monthly income.

The same data shows why expected value needs patience. Extra Place Master No Lay recorded £1,271,402.23 of expected value but £860,936.54 of actual profit over the stated period. Full Lay tracked much closer, with £191,154.18 expected value and £183,207.70 profit.[2] Neither difference proves that a mode will behave the same way for you. It shows that short-term and even year-long results can depart from the model, especially with higher variance.

Is £150 a month justified?

For a monthly subscriber, Pro must add more than £150 profit after qualifying losses, exchange commission and other costs before it improves the month's result. On the annual plan, the equivalent hurdle is about £83 a month, but you take the risk of paying £995 before you know how much you will use it.

Comparison showing a £150 monthly Pro fee and a £995 annual Pro fee, equivalent to £82.92 a month over a full year.
A fee-only break-even comparison of monthly and annual Outplayed Pro membership.

Suppose your chosen Pro methods produce £200 in a month after betting costs. The monthly membership leaves £50. The annual equivalent leaves about £117, but only if you use the plan for the full year. At £100 of method profit, monthly Pro leaves you £50 down after the fee. These are hypothetical break-even examples, not earnings forecasts.

Keep a separate line for the subscription in your profit tracker. Review at least three things: settled result, expected value taken and time spent. A fortunate winner can flatter one month, while a losing run can make sound value look useless. The fee is certain. The betting result is not.

CHECK CURRENT OUTPLAYED PRO TERMS

Pro versus Elite

Elite costs £3,000 a year and includes Pro plus Edge Finder, Golf Master and Steam Chaser.[1] That is £2,005 more than annual Pro. Outplayed describes Elite as a plan for experienced value bettors with a larger bankroll.[1]

Pro focuses on named promotional structures and racing combinations. Elite adds broader value-betting tools that scan markets, golf prices and rapid odds movements. This moves further away from classic matched betting, where opposing bets aim to control the outcome, and further towards taking repeated positive-value positions with unavoidable variance.

If you cannot show in your own records why a specific Elite tool should recover that extra £2,005, do not upgrade on the strength of a headline. Pro is expensive enough to demand a plan. Elite demands both a plan and evidence that you can execute it at scale.

Who should consider Pro?

  • You already place back and lay bets accurately without needing to re-learn the basics each time.
  • You have enough spare bankroll for the stakes and liabilities, separate from rent, bills and emergency money.
  • You understand expected value and can tolerate a run where actual profit trails the model.
  • You have eligible bookmaker accounts and will use at least one Pro method regularly.
  • You record every bet and can judge the subscription from net results rather than memorable winners.

Stay with a lower plan if you are still learning, have a small bankroll, dislike racing or 2UP work, or only expect to log in occasionally. A feature you never open has no value. There is no prize for owning the most expensive dashboard.

Verdict

Outplayed Pro has a clear purpose. Its strongest tools help experienced users filter 2UP, extra-place and Lucky 15 opportunities that would be slow to assess manually. The £150 monthly option is the sensible test because it limits commitment, even though its monthly break-even point is higher. The £995 annual plan can be better value once your own records show that Pro fits your routine.

I would not recommend it as a beginner's first purchase. Start with the ordinary offers and tools, then upgrade for a named method rather than a vague hope of earning more. If you cannot say which Pro tool you will use this week, keep the £150.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Outplayed Pro FAQs

Do I need Outplayed Pro as a beginner?

No. Outplayed's pricing page positions Platinum for beginners and Pro for people already comfortable with matched betting who have built a bankroll.[1] Learn the core process before paying for specialist value tools.

Can I try Pro cheaply first?

The public Pro page checked on 19 September 2026 listed £150 monthly or £995 billed annually. It did not advertise a separate Pro free trial.[6] A monthly subscription limits the initial commitment, but check the checkout price, renewal terms and refund eligibility before paying.

Does 2UP Master guarantee a profit?

No. It estimates probability and expected value. A positive expectation is an average over repeated bets, not a promise about one selection or one month. Stakes, qualifying losses, commission and account access still matter.

Is Extra Place Master the same as Extra Place Catcher?

No. The Catcher finds extra-place races and low-cost matches using implied odds. The Master estimates a horse's probability of landing in the extra place and offers Full Lay, Part Lay and No Lay modes.[4]

Is Lucky Finder matched betting?

It is better understood as value betting. The suggested Lucky 15 bets are not laid, so individual outcomes remain exposed and results can swing. Outplayed says the offers are not risk free.[5]

Who can use Outplayed?

Outplayed states that its service is for over-18s. Matched betting and value betting use real gambling accounts, and mistakes or ordinary variance can cause losses. Never use money needed for living costs.
