Outplayed’s free trial gives you a way to learn matched betting before committing to a paid membership. Its current homepage advertises a seven-day trial, while its published trial guide describes Platinum access with training, offer instructions and betting tools.[4][1]

The useful test is whether you can understand an offer, calculate both bets and record the result without feeling lost. Completing one offer carefully tells you more than browsing a long list of advertised profits.

This guide explains what Outplayed says is included, how payment and cancellation work, and how to use the trial productively. The exact membership and renewal charge shown during registration are what you should check before joining.

What is the Outplayed free trial?

Outplayed is a training and tools service for matched betting. Its trial guide describes seven days of Platinum access at no membership cost, with a recurring payment arranged when you enter your card details.[1] The current homepage continues to promote a seven-day trial.[4]

Free membership access is different from having no money involved. You still need funds for bookmaker stakes and exchange liability. Outplayed supplies instructions and software; the bets are placed with separate gambling operators.

If back bets, lay bets and liability are unfamiliar, start with our introduction to matched betting. You do not need to predict a sporting result, but you do need to understand which outcome each bet covers.

What do you get during the trial?

Outplayed’s published trial guide lists sportsbook sign-up offer instructions, its Oddsmatching tool, the matched-betting calculator, sports advanced calculators and a training section.[1] It also describes a selection of casino sign-up offers.[1] Those categories explain the service better than a headline promising a particular amount of money.

  • Offer instructions: a route through the qualifying bet, reward and conversion, rather than a promotion headline left for you to decipher.
  • An Oddsmatcher: a way to compare bookmaker back odds with exchange lay odds and find a suitable match.
  • Calculators: tools for working out a lay stake, liability and the outcome after commission.
  • Training: written explanations and walkthroughs to help you follow the process.

There is an important date distinction here. The detailed trial article is dated December 2024, and some of its examples and membership names belong to that period.[1] We have not carried its old offer counts, total profit figures or casino list into this guide as current promises. Check the access described during registration, particularly if a specific tool is the reason you want to join.

Outplayed’s current homepage advertises live chat, email support and a member community.[4] These are useful things to evaluate while trying the service. Ask a question about an instruction you genuinely need help understanding, rather than waiting until both bets have been placed incorrectly.

Do you need a card, and when does billing start?

According to Outplayed’s trial guide, you enter card details to create a recurring payment, and the first payment is taken when the trial finishes.[1] It also says that cancelling within the seven-day trial prevents that charge while leaving access available for the remainder of the trial.[1]

Before confirming registration, note four things: the plan name, the trial end date, the first payment amount and the renewal frequency. Save the confirmation. An annual membership and a monthly membership are different commitments, even when a pricing page also displays an equivalent monthly cost.

Do not assume every Outplayed registration route has identical terms. Follow the trial option, then read the subscription details attached to your own signup. The direct trial registration link currently takes an unauthenticated visitor to the account-login screen; we have not created an account or inspected a personalised checkout for this review.

A calendar reminder before the trial ends is useful. It gives you time to decide whether the service has earned a place in your routine, rather than making the decision when a payment notification arrives.

How much can you make in the trial?

There is no fixed cash payment simply for joining. Your result comes from the eligible offers you complete, the accepted odds, exchange commission and any qualifying costs. A free bet’s face value is not the amount of cash you will necessarily keep.

Be careful with a claim that the trial automatically produces £40, £100 or any other exact amount. It would need a defined set of currently available offers and clear assumptions about eligibility and execution. This guide does not present an unverified offer bundle as a guaranteed trial payout.

A better first target is to understand and complete one suitable sportsbook offer, then reconcile the two accounts. Record the cash returned by both sides, subtract the cash staked and include all relevant costs. Transferring money back to your bank does not, by itself, make that transfer profit.

Our Ultimate Calculator can help check the maths, and the free spreadsheet and tracker separates settled profit from money still tied up in bets. Keep those concepts separate when judging your trial results.

How to use the seven days well

Start with the basics. Work through the training on back bets, lay bets and liability. Read an entire offer guide before opening the bookmaker betslip. If a term is unclear, resolve it while no money is committed.

A practical way to organise Outplayed’s seven-day free trial.

Choose one manageable offer. Check that you are eligible, that the reward is useful to you and that the required exchange liability fits your spare funds. You do not need to select the largest promotion on the screen.

Check the two bets together. They must cover the same event and settlement market. Confirm the odds and stakes, then check that the exchange bet is fully matched. An order waiting for another customer is not completed cover.

Follow the reward through to settlement. Note when it should arrive, when it expires and how to use it. Keep enough time available to complete the conversion rather than discovering the deadline during a busy day.

Review the service before renewal. Could you follow the instructions? Were the tools useful? Did support resolve your question? How much time did the whole process take? Use your own answers, not somebody else’s best month, to decide whether paid access is worthwhile.

How to cancel before you are charged

Outplayed’s current policy says to open My Account, go to the bottom of Your Details and click Cancel Membership.[2] You then give a cancellation reason and confirm the cancellation on the next page.[2]

The policy says an on-screen confirmation appears and recommends taking a screenshot for your records.[2] Reaching the first cancellation screen is not the same as completing the process.

If cancellation is not working, the policy directs customers to email support@outplayed.com.[2] Contact support before renewal where possible and retain the correspondence. Simply deciding not to use the account is not a cancellation instruction.

Outplayed says it does not refund subsequent payments because a customer forgot to cancel or did not finish the cancellation process.[2] Set the reminder when you join, not when you think you might remember later.

Is the refund policy the same as the free trial?

No. Cancelling a free trial before billing and requesting a refund after payment are different actions.

Outplayed’s current refund policy describes a full refund within 14 days of your first-ever payment, including a discounted trial payment.[2] It excludes returning customers taking a new subscription, add-on purchases and upgrades, and sets limits covering each person, household and IP address.[2]

The current homepage separately says its advertised refund guarantee excludes Pro membership.[4] Do not assume that a trial, upgrade or advanced plan has the same refund protection as another product. Check the policy and the terms of the membership you select.

For an eligible request, the policy says to email support from the address registered to the account.[2] It asks customers to allow five to seven days for processing and return of the money.[2] A refund should not be treated as a substitute for cancelling a subscription you no longer want.

Is the trial worth trying?

It is a sensible starting point if you want guided instructions and are prepared to learn the matching process. You can test whether the tools save you time before deciding to pay for continued access.

It is less useful if you will not have a quiet period to read and complete an offer, or if the money needed for stakes and liability is already committed to bills. Start when you have both the attention and spare funds to assess it properly.

My recommendation is to begin with a standard sportsbook offer and use the trial to establish a repeatable routine. More complicated methods can wait. A clear record of one completed offer is a stronger foundation than a crowded dashboard.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Outplayed free-trial FAQs

Is the trial really free?

Outplayed advertises seven days without a membership charge, followed by recurring billing unless you cancel in time.[1][4] You still need your own funds for the bets.

Do I need betting experience?

You can begin without knowing much about sport. Learn the back-and-lay process, understand the offer conditions and check both betslips carefully before confirming.

Can I use it in Ireland?

The published trial guide describes offers for both the UK and Republic of Ireland, with some country-specific availability.[1] Check your own location and operator eligibility rather than assuming every listed promotion is available to you.

Does the trial include every advanced tool?

Do not assume so. The published guide describes a Platinum trial, not unrestricted access to every membership tier.[1] Confirm any named tool during signup before basing your decision on it.

Can I take another trial using a different account?

Outplayed’s policy limits free trials and discounted memberships to one per person, household and IP address.[2] Do not use different details or another person’s account to get round those limits.
