Profit Accumulator is now Outplayed: what changed and is it still good?

If you remember Profit Accumulator, you have not found a different matched-betting service by accident. Profit Accumulator changed its name to Outplayed on 1 November 2022. The date matters because several old reviews now get it wrong, often by years. Outplayed's own announcement is still online and says plainly that the new name arrived on that Tuesday.[1]

The practical answer is simple. Profit Accumulator is no longer the public brand, while Outplayed is the current service, website and login. The old profitaccumulator.co.uk address now sends visitors to outplayed.com. Old articles, bookmarks and calculator pages may still mention Profit Accumulator, but they belong to the same line of service rather than a rival platform.

Was the rebrand an improvement? As a name, probably. "Profit Accumulator" sounded like a spreadsheet designed by a committee. Outplayed is shorter and rather easier to say. A better question for members is whether the tools, training and support remain useful. They do, although today's pricing makes it worth choosing the level carefully rather than subscribing from habit.

What happened to Profit Accumulator?

Sam Stoffel started Profit Accumulator in 2014. In the official rebrand post, he said the business had served more than 150,000 paying customers by 2022 and had outgrown a name that felt cumbersome. The post promised a fresher brand while delivering the same service members already knew.[1]

The change happened on 1 November 2022, not in 2025. The post was updated in December 2024, which may explain why the later year sometimes appears beside it in search results. The original publication date and the announcement itself both identify 1 November 2022.[1]

Outplayed even warned that Profit Accumulator wording would remain in some places while the change was being made.[1] That residue has not entirely vanished. You may still see an old page title or a guide written for "existing Profit Accumulator members". It is untidy rather than mysterious.

What changed, and what did not?

The obvious changes were the name, domain and visual identity. Outplayed also presents a wider ladder of products than the beginner service many former members remember. The current public pricing page has Platinum, Diamond, Pro and Elite levels. It moves from ordinary sportsbook matched betting through casino offers and specialist tools to higher-priced value-betting software.[4]

The basic job has stayed recognisable. Members still need instructions for offers, an oddsmatcher to compare bookmaker and exchange prices, calculators for back and lay stakes, records for balances and profit, and support when a bet or promotion does not behave as expected. Outplayed's current tools page lists the Oddsmatcher, Offers Calendar, Profit Tracker, Match Catcher, Acca Catcher and each-way tools among the main features.[6]

The Profit Tracker remains integrated with the calculator, oddsmatcher and other tools, so settled results can be recorded in the account rather than copied into a separate spreadsheet.[3] If you prefer your own records, the free Matched Betting Beast profit tracker gives you a separate workbook that is not tied to a subscription.

Already a Profit Accumulator member?

Start at the Outplayed login page. It asks for an email address and password. If the password no longer works, the same page gives existing members a reset route.[5]

1. Go directly to outplayed.com and choose Log In.
2. Try the email address and password attached to your old Profit Accumulator account.
3. If needed, use the official password-reset link rather than guessing repeatedly.
4. Once inside, check the membership level, renewal details and saved payment information shown in your account.
5. If the account cannot be recovered, contact Outplayed support before opening another paid membership.

Do not follow a login link from an old email without checking the address first. The safe destination is on the outplayed.com domain. The rebrand is genuine, but that does not make every message carrying the old logo genuine.

An old bookmark may redirect correctly, but replacing it removes one needless detour. It also makes it easier to spot a lookalike address later.

What is still good about Outplayed?

The service still deals with the most irritating parts of matched betting: finding offers, comparing odds, calculating the lay side and remembering what remains unfinished. The Oddsmatcher compares bookmaker prices with exchange prices, while the Profit Tracker records both profit and bankroll.[6] Those are practical benefits, especially when several offers are open at once.

Training and support matter more than an enormous feature list for a beginner. Outplayed says it provides more than twelve hours of training and support seven days a week through several channels.[3] The quantity is less important than whether the explanation helps you complete an offer correctly, but there is enough material to build a proper routine.

The company currently says it has taught more than 150,000 people in the UK and describes itself as the country's number-one matched-betting service.[2] That is Outplayed's claim, not an independently audited league table. It does show that this is an established operation rather than a new site borrowing an old name.

The part that has changed most: what you pay for

Former members should not assume that an old Profit Accumulator review describes today's subscription. On 19 September 2026, the public pricing page listed annual prices of £249.99 for Platinum, £349.99 for Diamond, £995 for Pro and £3,000 for Elite.[4] It also said annual subscriptions renew automatically at the selected annual price unless cancelled.[4]

Platinum is the sensible comparison point for the traditional Profit Accumulator experience because it covers bookmaker sign-up offers, daily sportsbook reloads, training, support and the essential tools. Diamond adds casino material and software. Pro and Elite add specialist methods with more variance, larger bankroll demands and much higher fees.

Outplayed currently advertises a seven-day trial on its homepage.[2] Use it to test one complete workflow: read an offer, find a suitable match, calculate both sides, confirm the accepted bets and record the result. A busy dashboard is not evidence of value. Finishing the job correctly is.

Is Profit Accumulator, now Outplayed, still good?

Yes, for someone who wants a guided service rather than assembling the process alone. Outplayed has retained the recognisable core: offer instructions, odds comparison, calculators, tracking and support. The new name did not erase the product that made Profit Accumulator popular.

It is less convincing if you already know the process, use only occasional offers and can source prices and instructions efficiently yourself. In that case, a recurring subscription may remove little work. Beginners should also avoid assuming that the dearer levels are automatically better. More specialist tools can mean more bets, more variance and more capital tied up.

My verdict is to judge Outplayed as it exists now, not as Profit Accumulator existed in a review from 2019. Try the beginner workflow, compare the current fee with the time it saves, and keep the subscription only if the arithmetic works for you. Nostalgia is a poor renewal strategy.
